Avaliação de impactos
1. Redução no desempenho de indivíduos da biota nativa
Resposta: Sim
Evidências por mecanismo
Both of these native fishes also demonstrated a concomitant and significant reduction in their trophic position in L. gibbosus presence, with a significant decrease also evident in the somatic growth rate and body condition of G. gobio. Thus, there were marked changes detected in the isotopic ecology and growth rates of the native fish in the presence of non-native L. gibbosus. ( Copp et al. 2016)
\"Macroinvertebrate abundance in pools populated by pumpkinseed was eighty three percent lower than in pools without pumpkinseed. (Van Kleef et al. 2008)\"; \"Stomach content analyses confirmed predation on larval amphibians by sunfish. This study showed that Pumpkinseek Sunfish can negatively affect amphibians with species-specific impacts. (Préau et al. 2017)\"

\"Average macroinvertebrate abundance in ponds with pumpkinseeds was 83% lower than in ponds without pumpkinseeds. The abundance of eight invertebrate taxa (Tricladida, Hirudinea, Oligochaeta, Odonata, Heteroptera, Chironomidae, Ceratopogonidae and Trichoptera) was significantly lower in pumpkinseed ponds. (Van Kleef et al. 2008)\"; \"The number of amphibian species was significantly greater in ponds without sunfish (3.3 ± 0.2 [SD] species in 2004; 3.5 ± 0.2 in 2005) than in ponds with sunfish (1.6 ± 0.4 in 2004; 0.9 ± 0.2 in 2005). Sunfish presence was negatively related to the frequency of occurrence in ponds for Triturus marmoratus (Marbled Newt), Hyla arborea (European Tree Frog), Lissotriton helveticus (Palmate Newt), and Pelophylax spp. (Green Frog complex). The effect was especially pronounced for Hyla arborea and Triturus marmoratus, with occupancy nearly 50% and 100%, respectively, in ponds without sunfish, but 0% and 20%, respectively, in ponds with sunfish. (Préau et al. 2017)\"

3. Extinção local de população nativa
Resposta: Sim

Finally, the sunfish, Lepomis gibbosus are responsible to extinction of white-clawed crayfish in one of the seven ponds in the natural reserve of Pinail (Vienne department).

Resposta: Reversível
Mecanismos selecionados: (2) Predação
Evidências por mecanismo
A extinção provocada por Lepomis gibbosus foi registrada em apenas uma lagoa.
