Avaliação de impactos
1. Redução no desempenho de indivíduos da biota nativa
Resposta: Sim
Mecanismos selecionados: (1) Competição,(11) Impacto estrutural no ecossistema
Evidências por mecanismo
The presence of Acacia was associated with lower values of abundance, basal area, and the geometric mean of height of woody plants, as well as with a higher proportion of dead woody individuals.
In its early invasion stage, A. mangium is able to alter both soil and leaf nitrogen, increase shade and enable a wider range of light variation, which is facilitated by the nitrogen taken up and transferred to neighbouring plants (Meira-Neto et al. 2018).

2. Declínio no tamanho populacional de espécie nativa
Resposta: Sim
Mecanismos selecionados: (1) Competição
Evidências por mecanismo
The presence of Acacia was associated with lower values of abundance (...) as well as with a higher proportion of dead woody individuals
Acacia invasion enables the ecosystem to respond with a significantly wider range of shading due to soil variation (i.e., drought stress amelioration caused by the decreasing percentage coarse sand, Saporetti et al. 2012), and to increasing leaf nitrogen

3. Extinção local de população nativa
Resposta: Não
4. Reversibilidade da extinção local após remoção do táxon
Resposta: Nenhuma extinção registrada
